DRESS CODE

WELCOME DRINK : Casual chic.WEDDING DAY : Your typical wedding attire. Take your best hat and sunnies as the ceremony location does not have shade. Ladies, the ceremony and cocktail will be on grass, please mind your heel choice. Bring something warm for the evening as the dinner will be outside.ALTITUDE BRUNCH : Athleisure. Bring some sport shoes as you will be able to take a quick hike around the brunch location if you wish to explore.

KIDS FRIENDLY WEDDING

We will have baby-sitters to look after your kids during the dinner and party of the wedding day (July 4th). They will organize activities so your kids can have some fun too! Please inform us if you will be coming with kids and their age.

TRANSPORTATION TO HOTEL BOHINJ

To get to Lake Bohinj and the hotel, you have several airport options to fly in, then we recommend renting a car to drive to Hotel Bohinj.The easiest and most direct is to Ljubliana Airport which is less than 1-hour to the hotel.Depending on where you come from, you may find cheaper flight alternatives to Trieste Airport in neighboring Italy, which is a 2-hour and 15-minutes drive to the hotel.For those coming from London, it is worth checking flights to Klagenfurt Airport at the Austrian border, which is 1-hour and 30-minutes drive to the hotel.

ACCOMODATIONS

The wedding will take place at Hotel Bohinj. On the night of the wedding (July 4th), all rooms have been booked for our guests to stay at the Hotel. We will kindly ask for a 80€ contribution per person for the night.Should you wish to extend your stay for Friday and/or Sunday night, the rooms will be on hold for our guests until March 1st 2026. For your comfort, we recommend staying at Hotel Bohinj the night before the wedding (July 3rd) so that you have plenty of time to get ready on Saturday, as well as enjoy the Spa ;)For guests choosing to stay in a different accomodation the night before (July 3rd) please note that check-in to Hotel Bohinj on the wedding day (July 4th) is officially from 3:00PM when bus will start leaving for the ceremony, although hotel staff will do their best to accomodate earlier check-ins. If ever your room is not ready for early check-in, a conference room will be made available to drop your luggage and get ready.

There is so much to do and discovery in Lake Bohinj area, but also all around Triglav National Park! If you can take the time, we recommend you stay a little longer after the wedding to explore the area.We will also be planning a little buddy moon the week after the wedding, check the dedicated section, we would love for you to join us!

2. RENT KAYAK/SUP

3. BOAT TOUR

Two electric boats run every 40-minutes between the two ends of the lake, Ribčev Laz where Hotel Bohinj is located and Ukanc. lake bled

30-minutes drive from Lake Bohinj.Lake Bled is another popular lake in Triglav National Park. It is more developed and touristy, so it can get crowded, with traffic jam on the road between Bohinj and Bled.

1. ISLAND CHURCH

Take a traditional wooden Pletna boat until the island and visit the church.PRICE: 12€–18€ round trip for the boat / 12€ for the church / getting on the island is free

2. CASTLE WITH LAKE VIEW

Bled castle is nestled on top on a cliff and has beautiful views on Lake Bled.PRICE: 18€

3. VINTGAR GORGE

2-hours / 1.6km / 250m inclineTo regulate visitor traffic, the entrance and path across Vintgar Gorge is regulated. Things to Do

FROM JULY 6TH TO 12TH

The week following the wedding, we will be going on a little road trip around Triglav National Park. Anyone who wants to explore the beautiful nature of Slovenia is welcome to hop along with us! It can be for the full week or just a couple of days. The plan is to visit 3 main areas, Bohinj, Kranjska Gora and The Soca Valley. Let us know if you'd we interested!
